Cocktail Server- Night Operations

job description

MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK CHRISTMAS EVE & NEW YEARS EVE

 Duties:

-Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
-Take drink/food orders and inform guests of specialty drinks and specials 
-Enter drinks/food into POS system & deliver them to customers
-Monitor and observe the experience of the guests, ensuring that they are pleased with the service
-Present checks to guests & accurately collect payment
-Bus glassware and clean sections
-Prep the bar area/showroom & maintain a clean service area 
-Perform side work and duties requested by the night manager 
-Be willing to assist other servers if necessary

Qualifications:
Minimum 2-3 year experience cocktail serving
Must be able to work well in a high volume/high pressure environment
Must have extensive alcohol knowledge
Experience with POS system 
Must be able to commit to working at least 2-4 nights a week & all holidays
California ServSafe Food Handler Certification & previous Alcohol training is a PLUS 
Must have excellent communication & interpersonal skills
Must be detail oriented & a self -starter

Cashier- Night Operations

The Cashier is responsible for maintaining a high level of service to customers when they come in to the club to purchase tickets. Cashier is also responsible for answering phones and providing accurate information about show times, future shows, and any other general questions about our club.

Duties:
-Greet customers upon arrival to the club in a friendly & welcoming manner
-Sell tickets and merchandise to customers
-Receive payments/ Issue receipts and change due to customers
-Check in reservations and guest list patrons
-Answer customer's questions, and provide information on club policies
-At the beginning of the shift, ensure the cash in drawer is accurate and there is adequate change 
-At the end of the shift, balance the drawer and accurately count/check the servers' money owed to the house
Any other duties assigned by the club manager 
 

 Qualifications:

Atleast 2-3 years of work experience
Previous cashiering & mathematical skills a plus
HS Diploma
Great customer service skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy in a high pressure environment
Must be reliable, responsible, and honest

Production Intern

 We are looking for a smart and motivated intern with a sense of humor, interest in comedy, and looking to gain valuable experience in video recording & post production for live comedy. 

 
Responsibilities Include: 
  • Shoot podcasts from a three camera remote control system
  • Edit video footage & audio
  • Posting video content on the web
  • Coordinate tapes to be digitized and utilized for online streaming
  • Assist any projects related to pre and post production

Technical Skills:
  • Able to control camera and live switch video feeds
  • Have experience with camera operation and knowledge of framing aesthetics
  • Proficient with basic live sound mixing 
  • Familiar with online content management 
  • Have experience working with Mac computers, i.e. databases, word processors, spreadsheets, video and still frame manipulation
  • Have experience in using ProTools, FinalCutPro, & other audio/video editing programs
